TAS GROUP hosted a four-day intensive featuring international experts in IT and artificial intelligence. At the company’s special invitation, British entrepreneur of Indian origin Salash Motiani — founder of the international technology company KNOXED — arrived in Almaty together with two leading IT specialists from his team.
Salash Motiani is an entrepreneur and technology expert behind the development of KNOXED, an international company operating at the intersection of IT, e-commerce, proprietary enterprise systems, and artificial intelligence. Today, KNOXED brings together teams and offices across several countries, including the United Kingdom, India, and other international locations. The company is actively developing AI-powered enterprise systems — corporate solutions built using large language model technologies.
Salash Motiani and TAS GROUP founder Dulat Tastekey first met while studying at Stanford. It was this international educational community and professional networking that laid the foundation for their next meeting — this time in Kazakhstan, right at the TAS GROUP headquarters.
At Dulat Tastekey’s special invitation, Salash Motiani came to Almaty together with two leading specialists from his team to conduct a truly hands-on masterclass for the company’s IT team.
The training lasted four days, from Monday through Thursday. And it was far more than a conventional training session with presentations and lectures.
The international experts worked alongside TAS GROUP employees on specific tasks: analyzing existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and discussing how artificial intelligence could be applied within the company.
The main goal was to make existing technological processes even faster, more efficient, and more modern.
“The main objective was to integrate AI into the company to improve productivity. On the first day, our colleagues analyzed potential areas for improvement within the company. Everyone was asked to identify pain points and formulate specific requests for solving them,” says Askhat Zhakenov, TAS GROUP’s leading Bitrix IT specialist.
This approach made it possible to move from general discussions about artificial intelligence to practical work: identifying which processes could be accelerated, which tasks could be automated, and how new technologies could support employees in their daily work.
One of the key areas of the masterclass was hands-on work with modern AI tools.
The KNOXED team introduced TAS GROUP employees to new approaches to using artificial intelligence directly within the development process.
In particular, the team explored the capabilities of Claude and Claude Code, as well as ways to use AI tools in a structured manner when developing and enhancing software solutions.
“We learned a lot of new things, but most importantly, we understood how to use these tools in a structured way during development. We were shown how to work with skills in Claude and how to use Claude Code. It was a really great experience,” says Askhat Zhakenov.
For the TAS GROUP IT team, this was an opportunity to experience modern tools not in theory, but directly within a real working environment.
Particular attention during the training was given to the company’s existing IT infrastructure.
Askhat Zhakenov, who is responsible for the Bitrix area, joined the hands-on work from the second day of the intensive and provided the international specialists with a detailed overview of the TAS GROUP corporate system and its specific features.
Following the technical analysis, the experts concluded that the existing infrastructure offers strong potential for integrating modern AI solutions.
The team proceeded with practical experiments, gradually testing different technical approaches and possibilities for locally deploying individual solutions.
“We deployed the system locally and gradually connected various modules. Of course, there were certain technical limitations and challenges. But Salash worked actively alongside us, and we supported him from our side. In the end, it gave us very valuable practical experience,” notes Askhat Zhakenov.
Some of the solutions tested still required further development and were not yet ready for full-scale deployment in a production environment. However, the practical experimentation allowed the team to gain new knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of the architecture of modern AI solutions.
All communication and work throughout the four days were conducted in English.
For TAS GROUP employees, this was not only an opportunity to learn about new technologies, but also to gain direct experience working with international specialists who work with technology products and enterprise systems on a daily basis.
According to official information from KNOXED, the company has many years of experience developing proprietary technology systems for international operations and is actively integrating artificial intelligence and large language model technologies into enterprise processes.
“He is genuinely very knowledgeable in his field. We gained a significant amount of valuable knowledge. It was a very useful experience for the entire team,” says Askhat Zhakenov.
This four-day intensive became another example of an approach that has long been part of TAS GROUP’s corporate culture.
The company systematically invests in the professional development of its employees. Training sessions, masterclasses, expert meetings, and hands-on workshops are regularly held across the organization.
Importantly, professional development is not limited to the IT department. TAS GROUP strives to develop employees at all levels and across all areas of the business.
In today’s world, it is impossible to acquire knowledge once and simply stop. Technologies are evolving rapidly, management approaches are changing, new tools are emerging, and artificial intelligence is already becoming part of everyday business operations.
Therefore, continuous learning at TAS GROUP is not a one-time initiative, but an important part of the company’s development philosophy. Inviting Salash Motiani and his team provided an opportunity to combine TAS GROUP’s own strong IT expertise with international experience and modern approaches to technological development.
At TAS GROUP, the company’s traditional gift-giving ceremony was held for employees’ children who are starting school for the first time this year. Every year, the company presents future first-graders with school backpacks filled with all the essentials they need for their studies.
This year, 42 employees’ children across the TAS GROUP companies are starting first grade. Each of them has received a school backpack filled with all the stationery essentials they will need for the new school year. By comparison, 30 future first-graders received such gifts last year.
As part of a special event, the future first-graders were ceremoniously presented with school backpacks. Each backpack was filled with everything they need for school, including notebooks, pens, pencils, drawing pads, and other stationery supplies.
This initiative is part of the “First Bell” program, which TAS GROUP has been implementing since 2011. It reflects one of the company’s core values — “Reliability & Care”, emphasizing the company’s commitment to reliability and care.
For TAS GROUP, caring for employees goes beyond the workplace. The company also pays attention to important milestones in their families’ lives. A child’s first day of school is a special and meaningful moment for every parent, and this support makes it even more memorable.
TAS GROUP intends to continue this wonderful tradition, supporting employees and their families during important milestones in their lives. We wish all future first-graders a successful start, exciting discoveries, and a wonderful school year ahead!
The TAS GROUP sports project, in which participants are taking on all six continents, continued in Australia. This time, company employees travelled to Sydney and took part in the renowned mass running event, City2Surf.
Employees of TAS GROUP — Rauan Okas, Shokan Alkhabayev, and Enlik Sharimbay — took part in the race.
City2Surf is one of the largest mass running events in the world. This year, around 90,000 participants took to the streets of Sydney. The race was held for the 56th time, and 2026 marked the third consecutive year that all available places were sold out.
Participants had to cover a distance of 14 kilometers. The race started at Hyde Park in the heart of Sydney and finished at the iconic Bondi Beach.
What makes City2Surf special is that alongside professional athletes, the event brings together amateur runners, families, walkers, and people of all ages. That’s why it has long been more than just a race — it has become one of Sydney’s major sporting celebrations.
The race also has a strong charitable component. Since 2008, City2Surf participants have raised more than AUD 63 million for various charitable organizations.
For the TAS GROUP team, taking part in the Sydney race is about more than simply covering 14 kilometers. It is another step in the “TAS GROUP – Six Continents” project and an opportunity to conquer another continent.
Before this, TAS GROUP employees had taken part in running events across Asia, Europe, and North America. Next up are Africa and South America.

The “TAS GROUP – Six Continents” project continues. As part of the initiative, company employees take part in running events in different countries around the world, combining sports, travel, and team spirit.
This time, the TAS GROUP team headed to the USA. Company employees Rauan Okas, Darkhan Kazybayev, and Shokan Alkhabayev took part in the Coffee Lovers Run in Chicago.
For the project participants, Chicago became another important destination on their sporting journey and a new milestone in conquering North America. Before this, TAS GROUP employees had taken part in running events across Asia and Europe.
The project gives employees an opportunity not only to stay active and challenge their endurance, but also to travel, discover new countries and explore new cities.
The main goal of the project is to give employees the opportunity to run marathons on all six continents. The Chicago race was another step toward achieving this goal.
The TAS GROUP sporting journey continues.

A meeting with representatives of the organizers of the Qazaqstan Esports Business League (QEBL) was held at the TAS GROUP office. The organizers personally congratulated the TAS Finance Group team on their successful performance in the sixth season of the corporate esports league.
During the visit, the organizers presented the team with a silver medalist certificate and a prize certificate worth 200,000 tenge. A meeting with the company’s management also took place, where the season results were summarized and prospects for further employee participation in corporate sports and esports initiatives were discussed.
The league representatives highly praised the performance of TAS Finance Group, highlighting the team’s confident gameplay throughout the tournament, the high level of preparation of the participants, and the strong result achieved already in their debut season.
Special attention was given to the fact that the TAS Finance Group team not only successfully passed all stages of the competition but also became one of the season’s major breakthroughs, demonstrating team spirit, strategic thinking, and a strong drive for victory.
TAS GROUP emphasized that employees’ participation in such projects contributes to the development of teamwork, strengthening of corporate culture, and the creation of new opportunities for professional and personal growth.
Congratulations to the TAS Finance Group team on this well-deserved achievement, and we wish them new victories in future QEBL seasons!
The TAS Finance Group team confidently advanced through the group stage of the Qazaqstan Esports Business League Season 6 in the CS2 discipline, delivering one of the strongest performances of the stage.
Over the course of two match days, the team secured 4 victories in 5 matches, suffering their only defeat in an overtime round against the “Bereke Bank” team with a score of 22:19. This result allowed TAS Finance Group to secure a high position in the group and advance to the playoffs from second place.
In the playoffs, the team continued its fight for the title and reached the semifinals, where they faced the reigning champions of the previous season — Kaspi Team. Despite being tournament newcomers, TAS Finance Group put up a serious challenge against one of the league’s strongest opponents.
The season final turned out to be especially exciting, as the decisive stage featured two standout debutants of the business league, both demonstrating nearly identical performances throughout the tournament.
As a result of the season, TAS Finance Group became the silver medalist of QEBL Season 6, finishing the tournament with a performance already being called one of the brightest debuts in the league’s history.
The team was awarded prize money in the amount of 200,000 tenge.
The performance of TAS Finance Group became an example of a confident start in corporate esports and a strong statement for competing for the championship title in future seasons.

TAS GROUP held its annual traditional Quryltai. This year’s gathering was organized in a special format and took place at a restaurant venue. For one evening, the company’s team members came together to summarize the results of the past year.
The first part of the event followed an official format, where the company’s management congratulated the staff and spoke about the work accomplished during the year. In addition, employees who achieved outstanding results over the past year were awarded valuable gifts and recognition.
The official section lasted approximately 30 minutes. Afterward, the informal part of the event began, allowing participants to spend time together in a relaxed atmosphere.
During the evening, employees freely interacted with one another, enjoyed the musical entertainment program, and participated in dancing activities. The open and friendly atmosphere helped strengthen relationships between colleagues and enhanced the company’s corporate spirit.
Participants noted that this type of Quryltai format improves communication within the team and allows colleagues to get to know each other better outside the work environment.
According to the organizers, transitioning the traditional Quryltai into a more relaxed format became one of the important steps toward developing the company’s culture and strengthening unity within the team.
TAS GROUP has introduced a new corporate incentive model under which a portion of the company’s top management has been granted the right to receive annual dividends from net profit.
This initiative is aimed at fostering deeper employee engagement in the company’s performance and transitioning from the traditional “employer–employee” model to a strategic partnership approach.
According to the company, the decision was not made overnight. The program has been developed in stages since 2021 and has been integrated into TAS GROUP’s long-term development strategy.
The company notes that the key objective of the initiative is to strengthen the accountability of the management team and to cultivate a culture of shared participation in business results.
The principle that “the value of work is measured not only by salary, but also by a share in the overall outcome” has become the foundation of the new incentive system.
Going forward, TAS GROUP plans to expand its corporate tools, including mechanisms that will enable employees to become shareholders of the company.
The corporate project “TAS GROUP Across Six Continents” continues to gain momentum. On April 26, 2026, company employees took part in an international marathon in the Lithuanian city of Kaunas, successfully completing another stage of this large-scale sports initiative.
Rauan Okas, Aigul Topshakova, and Didar Kokan completed the 10-kilometer distance, proudly representing TAS GROUP on the European continent.
Previously, the project participants had already conquered Asia by taking part in a marathon in Dubai. Now, Europe has been added to the team’s achievements — the second continent on the way toward the ambitious goal of the project.
The “TAS GROUP Across Six Continents” project is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, developing corporate culture, and strengthening team spirit.
By the end of the year, TAS GROUP employees will take part in marathons across the African continent, as well as in Australia, North America, and South America.
Congratulations to our colleagues on this excellent achievement, and we wish them many more sporting successes!
Вперед, TAS GROUP!

On February 23, the financial group TAS GROUP celebrated its 16th anniversary. Over these years, the company has financed the economy with 600 billion tenge, supported thousands of entrepreneurs, and become a symbol of maturity and scale in Kazakhstan’s financial sector.
In recent years, Kazakhstan’s financial market has become significantly more regulated and competitive. Increased requirements for transparency, capital, and risk management have raised the bar for all industry participants.
In such conditions, maintaining growth momentum while retaining leadership is no easy task. However, TAS GROUP has evolved from an ambitious niche player into the undisputed leader in the car-secured lending market. Today, the company helps entrepreneurs quickly and conveniently resolve cash flow gaps and other financial challenges.
Results are measured in numbers. Over 16 years, TAS GROUP has financed the national economy with more than 600 billion tenge. Throughout its history, around 300,000 Kazakh citizens have become the company’s clients, and the total number of contracts has exceeded 370,000.
These figures reflect not only the company’s popularity but also the trust it has earned in the market, as well as the maturity of its processes and the resilience of its business model. Today, the company’s assets have approached 100 billion tenge, confirming its institutional scale and stability.
Over 16 years, TAS GROUP has transformed into a full-fledged ecosystem of financial services. The company has built an effective risk management system, learned to scale without compromising portfolio quality, and formed a strong management team.
The company’s network includes 50 branches across major cities in Kazakhstan and CIS countries. TAS GROUP has built scalable infrastructure that enables it to support clients anywhere in the country. This extensive network demonstrates not only business scale but also the ability to operate systematically with high-quality risk management.
Currently, more than 30,000 clients actively use the company’s financial products. This scale is no longer the story of a startup — it is a systemic infrastructure working in the interests of small and medium-sized businesses.
For the founder and head of the group, Dulat Tastekey, this stage also has a personal dimension.
«As a child, I dreamed of creating a large financial company. Back then, it seemed unattainable,» he says. «But over time, I realized that what matters more is not status or branding, but the level of processes and responsibility to clients.»
According to him, the main transformation took place within the company.
«When hundreds of billions of tenge flow through your system, you begin to think differently. It is no longer just a business — it is a responsibility to entrepreneurs and to the country’s economy. Scale implies responsibility.»
Over the years, TAS GROUP has gone through various economic cycles: periods of growth, currency fluctuations, and tightening regulations.
«We have never chased rapid growth at any cost,» notes Dulat Tastekey. «For us, portfolio quality and client trust have always been more important.»
600 billion tenge in financed economy is not just a number. Throughout its existence, TAS GROUP has become one of the country’s key financial players, supporting the development of small and medium-sized businesses, creating jobs, and providing working capital to hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs. In U.S. dollar terms, this amounts to over 1.2 billion, and even more when adjusted for inflation — confirming the company’s real impact on Kazakhstan’s economy.
16 years ago, TAS GROUP started as an entrepreneurial initiative — essentially a fintech startup in the fast financing segment. The focus was on speed of decision-making, analytics, and process digitalization.
Over time, the startup evolved into a mature fintech platform. Today, a significant portion of processes — from client assessment to decision-making — is automated. The company invests in its own IT developments, scoring models, and digital service channels.
«Fintech ceases to be an experiment when it is backed by real volumes and long-term sustainability,» says Dulat Tastekey. «We see our role as making financial tools accessible, understandable, and technological.»
Financial maturity is the ability to influence the country’s economy. Over 16 years, TAS GROUP has transformed into an independent financial institution of national scale, providing access to capital for hundreds of thousands of Kazakh citizens.
16 years is the point at which TAS GROUP stops proving something to the market and begins shaping its rules.
